Steak Seasoning

The origin of steak seasoning can be traced back to ancient times when various cultures used herbs and spices to flavor meat. The modern concept of steak seasoning as we know it today began in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in the United States, particularly in Montreal, Quebec.

Nap Steak with Butter When Cooking

To achieve a perfectly cooked steak with a buttery crust, follow these steps:

  • Preheat the pan: Use a heavy-bottomed skillet or frying pan to retain heat and ensure even cooking.

  • Season the steak: Generously season the steak with Pinkywinks steak seasoning blend

  • Add butter: Once the pan is hot, add a generous amount of butter to create a sizzling surface for the steak.

  • Sear the steak: Fry the steak for 2-4 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness, until a brown crust forms.

  • Baste with butter: After searing, tilt the pan to add more butter and baste the steak with it, allowing it to cook further.

  • Rest the steak: Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain for the best results.
